Meet Josh Hay
DPE, ATP, CFII, MEI
Josh currently lives in a suburb of Kansas City and Orlando, FL where he is an instructor pilot for JetBlue Airways.
Josh was born and raised in Liberal, KS. He graduated from Liberal High School. After which he began college at Kansas State University. He earned an Associate of Technology - Professional Pilot, Bachelor of science in economics and Master of Business Administration.
Josh began flying when he was a sophomore in high school and earned his private pilot certificate. While attending college he earned his commercial pilot certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings. He also earned a Flight Instructor Certificate with instrument and multi-engine privileges.
During high school Josh worked as a board operator at the local radio station, as a lifeguard at the Community College Wellness Center and The Liberal Country Club. While attending college in Salina he worked as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at The Salina Family YMCA.
Josh’s previous role as Director of Training at Airshare involved overseeing all training activities for the operations 100+ pilots. He also held a part 135 Check Airman LOA for the EMB-505 and CE-525 series aircraft.
Josh currently works as an Instructor Pilot for a major airline.
